The
knobkerrie,
a wooden cane customarily featuring a sturdy handle
or knob, sometimes carved into a face or other shape, bear
great symbolism within many African tribes. Traditionally
used as weapons and in cattle herding, knobkerries make
excellent walking sticks. This exceptional example is hand
carved - in minute detail - from Ironwood
making an outstanding ornament or sturdy walking stick.
